According to the study “Personal Vehicles Evaluated against Climate Change Mitigation Targets” consumers do not have to pay more for a low-carbon vehicle. Furthermore the findings reveal that today’s clean vehicles do also contribute to the goal of limiting the mean global temperature rise to 2 °C above preindustrial levels.
