The California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) has approved testing of Lyft’s self-driving technology on California state public roads. The company will most likely soon work in collaboration with automakers and other partners to improve their autonomous vehicle (AV) technology.
Uber, Waymo, as well as some automakers such as Mercedes-Benz, Tesla, and Ford have already revealed similar plans.
