Main street in downtown Fukuoka collapsed

A part of a main street in Fukuoka’s business district collapsed Tuesday before sunrise. While nobody was injured, it caused cuts in power, water and gas supplies. Local authorities of the city, which is located about 1,000 kilometers southwest of Tokyo, lead the incident back to ongoing subway constructions in the area. Investigations are ongoing.
