A major new player has officially entered the UK wind energy market. Ventient Energy Ltd was created from the Zephyr portfolio of 15 wind farms, 19 wind farms that formerly belonged to Infinis, and the portfolio of institutional investors advised by JP Morgan Asset Management.
The consolidation makes Ventient the third largest generator of onshore wind energy in the UK already, as well as the largest non-utility owner of onshore wind.
