Mercedes-Benz Trucks will introduce its all-electric heavy-duty truck to the market this year. It will be just a small series, though. The electric trucks is based on a three-axle truck with the entire drivetrain replaced by an electrically driven rear axle with electric motors directly attached to the wheel hub. The e-truck has a range of up to 200 km and can be fully charged in two to three hours thanks to a charging power of 100 kW.
