Mexico City has held the “Urban Toys” competition recently, a call for architects to create temporary urban interventions to reactivate underused public spaces through play and amusement. These are not just swing sets, slides and other standardized plastic modules, but new ways to explore the world for children.

What is more, after the winning projects have been installed, there will be workshops for psychological development taking place to make the city more resilient.
