Miami to become smartest city in the USA

Due to a new partnership with CIVIQ Smartscapes, Miami is going to launch the first fully interconnected smart city ecosystem in the U.S. CIVIQ is specialized in smart communications infrastructure in public spaces. The new partnership will engage citizens and provide access to city services. The company plans to install and maintain around 300 interactive WayPoints. WayPoints were first launched in 2016. They are equipped with Wi-Fi, USB quick charging ports and more. Citizens in Miami will get free access to public Wi-Fi and timely transportation schedules. The new measures will not have any costs for the taxpayers.
