Microsoft plans to launch a “Home Hub” feature built into Windows 10 that assumes a screen will be present to display shared family information via Cortana. The Windows 10 IoT Core version includes screens in small devices but Cortana will also run on devices without screens. Assumptions have been made about Microsoft’s smart home strategy but its acutal plans are more complex.
