In the coming years Microsoft continues to invest over 1 billion USD on cybersecurity research and development. The number of people using cloud has enormously increased, so has the number of attempted cyberattacks. Three years ago there were around 20,000 attacks per week, now there are between 600,000-700,000 according to Microsoft data. Moreover, the company has bought three security firms and made three cybersecurity investments in Israel.
