New Delhi air pollution worsens

The air pollution in New Delhi has reached levels of more than 16 times of the safe limit. The Indian government declared a national emergency. Schools closed and locals began to flee. Now it can be even seen from space. Satellite images from NASA show the thick layers of smog hanging over the city. And the farmers still continue to burn their leftover straw which are an estimated 32 million tons.
