SunToWater is a home- and business-sized water generator which is able to produce between 40-100 gallons of potable water daily. It requires a solar thermal and an electricity input. The generator is similiar to a high-tech dehumidifier. It is especially made for homeowners with big lawns and landscapes to water or swimming pools. SunToWater uses a combination of salt that pulls the moisture out of the air, fans and solar heat that pulls the water out of the salt. A condenser extracts the distilled water. Afterwards the water is piped to a tank. More units like additional solar thermal units have to be bought extra.
