HX2, Volvo CE’s autonomous, battery-electric, load carrier was unveiled at the CONEXPO 2017. Aimed at transforming the quarry and aggregates industry and reducing the carbon emissions by upto 95%, this is the second generation concept machine and is a developmentr over the previous first generation, HX1. Volvo also aims at introducing other mobility equipments in the heavy machinery sector and it has partned with Skanska Sweden alongwith other Swedish universities to collaborate on the US$23-million project.
