Watching the movie “An Inconvenient Truth” made Jackie Ferris think about whether and how climate change might also affect Nigeria. Consequently she made a movie, “Nowhere to Run”, that reflects upon the relations between climate change and expanding deserts, water shortages and sea level rise in Africa’s most populous country. The movie also sheds light on the how environmental threats are linked to the rise of Boko Haram.
