Nio (NextEV) EP9 has set yet another new record at Nürburgring Nordschleife track, timing a lap time (for an EV) of just 6 minutes and 45.9 sends surpassing the previous record 7 minutes and 5.12 seconds. Nio EP9 also became the record holder for “fastest road-legal production car” as well, electric or otherwise beating Lamborghini Huracán Performante, which did a 6 minutes + 52.01 seconds lap time earlier this year. Limited in its number, the car is priced to be at $1.48 million apiece and provides a power of 1,342 horsepower, with a top speed of 194 miles per hour, with a sprint of 0-124 mph in just 7.1 seconds.
