NVIDIA in a collaboration with Bosch exhibited their new AI car supercomputer at Bosch Connected World, an IoT conference. The announcement marks the first DRIVE PX platform that will use NVIDIA’s upcoming Xavier technology. The objective with the computer is to enable Level 4 autonomy for self-driving vehicles, a state in which human intervention is no longer required.
Other brands such as Audi, Ford, BMW, Tesla, Waymo, Uber and Baidu are working on solutions to achieve Level 4 autonomy as well.
