During the Bosch Connected World in Berlin, CEO of Bosch Dr. Volkmar Denner revealed that Bosch and NVIDIA have joined hands to venture into the self driving systems for mass-produced cars by working together on an artificial intelligence system. This system will be built on NVIDIA’s deep learning software and hardware which in turn will help the vehicle to be trained in the autonomous driving and its complexities alongwith over the air updation of features and improvements. The Bosch AI car system employs the next-generation NVIDIA DRIVE PX-technology combined with the latest AI car superchip capable of achieveing level- 4 autonomous driving – Xavier, which is expected to handle a large number of computations rendering a superior level of performance.
