OCBC Bank in Singapore has launched a human resource (HR) mobile application (app) built to simplify the life of employees. HR In Your Pocket, as the app is called, lets employees access a variety of functions, from leave applications and submission of claims for outpatient medical and dental expenses to browsing available job vacancies.
Buddy, the chatbot that is integrated with the Bank’s HR information system, can provide immediate responses specific to each employee when asked, for instance for the status of an expense claim.
HR In Your Pocket is currently available on iOS devices only, with plans to launch the mobile app for Android devices. The app will be rolled out in OCBC Malaysia by the end of the year.
