UK solar company “Mypower” just installed the first panel of around 150 on the roof of 1000 year-old Gloucester Cathedral in England which is the oldest cathedral in the UK – and maybe in the world – that is solar powered. Due to the cathedral’s design the panels will not be visible from the ground. They will provide 40 kilowatts of clean energy and reduce power costs by about a quarter.
