Panasonic Corporation has started operation at a new automotive lithium-ion prismatic battery cell factory in Dalian, China. The company that is already supplying leading car manufacturers is looking to cement its lead in the market for automotive batteries. Panasonic is also planning to facilities in the United States later this year.
