A new report of the World Energy Council predicts energy demand per capita to peak in 2030. Due to stricter regulations and renewable energies the energy sector will transform rapidly in the coming years. Overall however, demand for electricity will double by 2060, which implies greater investment in infrastructure and energy efficiency.
