Taipei Medical University Hospital and Digital Treasury Corporation (DTCO) have revealed phrOS, a blockchain-based personal healthcare record operating system. According to a press release, it will “enable the rise of patient-centric healthcare system, where an individual can carry their own medical information digitally.”

phrOS will make it easier to keep data safe from external hacking threats as well as enable seamless cross-hospital treatment and far less complicated online insurance claims.
