Have researchers found a solution to reduce human-made greenhouse gases that cause climate change? Image source: Shutterstock (#334716803)
A team of scientists at the University of Central Florida have managed to use synthetic materials to carry out artificial photosynthesis in ordner to produce energy and transform greenhouse gases into clean air. With the method, carbon dioxide can be converted into other materials, which might fix the problem of the surplus of carbon dioxide society produces.
The project thus for has proven feasibility, and now wants to create synthetic materials that are better at photosynthesis than plants.
