In the first quarter of 2017, demand for electric and hybrid vehicles grew considerably in the EU. Alternative fuel cars were registered 37.6% more often, with electrically chargeable vehicles up by around 30% and hybrid vehicles by around 60%. The UK, Germany and France accounted for the most registered electrically chargeable cars.
