A new report of the Institute for Transportation and Development Policy headquerted in New York shows that public transportation networks are not able to keep up with the growth of cities. The report measured the population density within varying distances to train stations and bus stops of 26 major cities in different countries. On top of the city ranking is Paris, followed by Barcelona, Rotterdam and Seoul.
