Republican donors in the U.S. support clean energy nearly as much as Democrats

PowerScout, an Oakland-based company examined about 1,5 million rooftops in the top 20 solar markets in the USA for its latest study. The study finds that there is not a large difference between Democratic and Republican party donors in terms of installed residential solar systems. In turn, this means that despite the Republican president Donald Trump rejects clean energy and all relateded issues, Republicans in general do support renewable energy sources over fossil fuels as much as Democrats.
