Royal Navy goes electric to reduce carbon footprints

The Royal Navy has become the latest organization in the global phenomena of organizations converting their fleet to do their part in an effort to reduce about 40% CO2 emissions and save on servicing and gas as well. The Royal Navy recently took delivery of an all electric fleet of 48 Nissan e-NV200 Combis at the Portsmouth Naval Base which is managed by BAE systems. To further support this fleet 26 charging points and 28 designated parking bays for electric vehicles are being installed.
