Seoul will ban 60,000 old diesel vehicles from the city

Seoul will ban 60,000 old diesel vehicles from the city this year. This part of the citiy’s plan to reduce fine dust. The Ministry of Environment also announced that it plans to incorporate artificial intelligence technology for weather forecasting to improve the accuracy and increase the number of air monitoring information stations. Moreover, stricter rules will be applied to new coal-fired power plants to control air pollutants.
