Silverfin, a Belgium based startup which offers businesses an oppportunity to get a better handle on their finances with its ‘connected accounting platform’ bagged $4.3 million in its Series A funding which was led by the Index Ventures. The platform plugs into the existing softwares and data sources used by the businesses and help the internal auditors as well the external specialists such as accountancy firms, consultants get a real time view of the company’s financial data on one hand, and providing a communication portal between the various stakeholder on the other. Joris Van Der Gucht, co-founder Silverfin said,“Ultimately we’re building a central nervous system for financial advisory and services firms, paving the way for us to become the first real-time monitor of businesses’ financial data.”
