IoT solutions help airports to solve issues that happen in a similar way in Smart Cities. The Spanish technology company “Ikusi” is specialised in applications to provide greater intelligence and efficiency in infrastructure security, road and rail mobility, airports and cities. Ikusi has developed a wireless sensor network to ensure quality in management and operation at the airport in Santiago de Chile. The sensor platform has been developed in 20 different areas of the terminal to measure humidity, temperature and luminosity. The managers know in real time if the conditions of the terminal are suitable or not.
