Our parent company, CycloMedia Technology, B.V. is headquartered in the Netherlands. From the outset, CycloMedia was unique in providing large-scale and systematic visualization of physical environments using specialized technology to collect 360° spherical imagery from a moving vehicle. The technology concept was invented at the Technical University of Delft, conducting the initial research to develop a camera prototype in 1980.
In the 30+ years since its academic beginnings, CycloMedia has relentlessly pursued the path of focused technology innovation and excellence. New developments in camera technology and innovations in 3D image capturing keep the company at the forefront of the fields and in a position to help customers solve anticipated as well as immediate GIS-related challenges

The software is used standalone, as an “add-in” for existing GIS environments such as e.g. Esri ArcGIS for Desktop, or as a customized web app. This ensures tight integration into your day-to-day workflow without requiring major modifications or costs to your own processes and infrastructure. Cycloramas are easy to access and manage with this software.

Street Smart Integrations
Most Street Smart features are available through Street Smart’s Application Programming Interface (API). This ensures organizations can customize Street Smart’s features and user interface to best suit their workflows. You can also build applications that seamlessly integrate Street Smart’s “Measurement” features directly with 3rd party CAD, GIS, and land management packages. CycloMedia actively supports developers using the API and supplies documentation and code examples free of charge.
GlobeSpotter:
GlobeSpotter is an interactive web-based application that provides cloud access to GeoCycloramas while enabling the overlay of GIS layers directly inside the GeoCyclorama you are working with. GlobeSpotter is used standalone, as an “add-in” for Esri ArcGIS for Desktop, or as a customized web app. This ensures tight integration into your day-to-day workflow without requiring major modifications or costs to your own processes and infrastructure. GeoCycloramas are easy to access and manage with GlobeSpotter.
GlobeSpotter is successfully used in organizations in many sectors such as central government, municipalities and counties, real estate, financial institutions, utilities and construction companies. GlobeSpotter not only provides access to GeoCycloramas™, you can also add other geographical and administrative data layers. With GlobeSpotter you have an essential source of information that can be used in many geo-referenced processes.
With the mobile version of GlobeSpotter, HD-GeoCycloramas can also be viewed on a smartphone or tablet. You can see the date and time the photograph was taken in one glance. This makes it possible to see what a situation used to look like while at the location, and therefore to detect changes.
Our current customers include municipalities, counties, and state-level departments on the one hand, utilities, insurances and companies from other branches on the other hand.
