Smart Cities are equipped with thousands of sensors, ranging from trash bins to motion controlled street lamps – all these sensors and devices need to be maintained. Currently, maintenance appointments are arranged manually, which causes tremendous labor efforts.
IndeeWork is developing a software for automated maintenance scheduling in Smart Cities. In doing so, we optimize the maintenance plans according to the resources of the service teams, while at the same time taking the data of the Smart City into account.
As a result, we’re not just automating maintenance plans in Smart Cities – we’re contributing to increase efficiency and decrease costs of running a city. Our work is supported by Deutsche Telekom’s incubator program UQBATE, currently located in the hub:raum space in Berlin
