Sungrow capitalizes on market uncertainty in China

As new global solar PV installations have decreased in 2017, market uncertainty has pushed Chinese inverter companies to expand their global reach. This is where a pure-play inverter company like Sungrow comes in, seizing a unique opportunity like this. The company expects to double its exports in 2017 from 2016, but global brand recognition poses a challenge.

“Sungrow continues to focus aggressively on international expansion and exported over 1 gigawatt of inverters in 2016 for the second year in a row,” said Scott Moskowitz, lead author of the latest GTM Research inverter report. As prices for solar continue to decrease, inverter companies are well advised to stay ahead of regional trends.
