A survey by INRIX found out that London is the city with most traffic within Europe: there are more than 12,000 traffic hotspots. The congestion causes an economic cost of GBP 47 billion, besides high levels of pollution and noise. London’s mayor Sadiq Khan has announced plans to improve road infrastructure which is supposed to reduce congestion.
