Tesla’s Gigafactory in Nevada will not only produce lithium-ion battery cells but it will also produce electric motors and gearboxes for the new Model 3. This will create around 550 new jobs and entail an extra 350 million USD investment. The factory is expected to be the largest building in the world by 2018 when it is completed.
