The first waste food supermarket opened in England

Adam Smith started a small cafe in his hometown Leeds in 2013 where he used products from supermarket bins. Customers were charged on a “pay as you feel” basis. The idea spread quickly with now 120 eateries in seven countries. Now the first waste food supermarket was opened in Leeds which obtains its products from other “regular” supermarkets and restaurants.
