Reducing Hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs), one of the six main greenhouse gases and most commonly used in air conditioners, might be a low-hanging in the fight against climate change: Eliminating their use would save 100-200 billions tons of emissions – enough to take the world a quarter of the way toward achieving the 2 degree global-warming target.
