Activists in San José (Cost Rica) show how to take initiative and reduce traffic problems without waiting for politics to tackle the issue through bureaucratic procedures. The groups already built new infrastructure, run inititatives to create awareness and conduct research projects. Even though not all activites are by right, they play a significant role in the sustainable development of Costa Rica’s capital.
