The Danish brewer Carlsberg has announced its aims to drop its carbon emissions to zero by the year 2030. The brewery wants to halve its water usage and eliminate its carbon emissions. Carlsberg wants to focus on renewable sources such as solar panels and biogas cutting down coal power stations, especially in its production sites in India, Poland and China. The Chief Executive of Carlsberg said its plans to implement renewables in the production cycle will be like taking 160,00 cars off the road.
