Transit-based electric delivery van by Deutsche Post and Ford

StreetScooter GmbH, a subsidiary of Deutsche Post will go into a partnership with Ford-Werke GmbH to manufactur elctric battery delivery vehicles. The new electric van will have a battery-electric drive train and a tailored body construction to fit the needs of Deutsche Post and DHL Paket. The new electric van, with a batch size of 2.500 vehicles will be launched for production in July 2017 and will be on the market in 2018.
