UEA launches its second round of Adapt Low Carbon Innovation Fund

Hailed as the UK’s only University run low carbon venture capital, the Adapt Low Carbon Innovation Fund (LCIF) of University of East Angila kicked off its second investment cycle.The fund was launched in 2010 and it provides equity finance to green small and medium enterprises (SMEs) based in the East of England. In the second round, it is inviting investments between £25,000 to £75,000. LCIF CEO, Professor John French said, “We are pleased to see the ongoing success of this fund and, as we move into its seventh year, we are able to start recycling funds for investment again. This is a tribute to our successful cluster of green businesses and to our fund managers, Turquoise International, who manage our investment portfolio with us.”
