At the UK Tech Summit which has taken place in New Dehli from November 7th-9th over 30 innovative British companies showcased their high-tech smart city solutions. The UK is the Tech Summit partner this year. Those solutions include the development of connected vehicles, intelligent transport systems, data analytics and energy systems as well as smart meters, self-driving vehicles, solar-power grids and advanced technology mobile devices. The UK and India are working together to deliver a 100 smart cities programme. Especially the UK is very eligible when it comes to green technologies because it provides a welcoming regulatory environment with strong government commitment and support in areas such as autonomous vehicles and urban emissions reduction.
