An architecture company from London has developed a transport solution for cities that use autonomous cars in underground tunnels. The driverless electric vehicles are managed by an artificial intelligence central control system. The use of autonomous electric cars could reduce congestion in global cities. However, one of the major problems, related to those tube systems, is that you need segregated tracks but cities are not segregated. Moreover, this transportation system is especially attractive to emerging cities and not so much to developed cities because deveopled cities follow the path they have chosen years ago. Changes in the transportation systems can not so easily be implemented.
