The United Arab Emirates (UAE) is estimating to save $192 billion with the 50 percent switch to renewable energy that is supposed to have happened by 2050. The generated savings will outweigh the necessary investment of about $150 billion by a fair margin. Enthusiastic about the development, the UAE will part ways with their dependence on inefficient subsidized natural gas. With this step, the Emirates are joining other countries in their endeavors to produce clean energy only.
