StoneCycling, an Amsterdam-based startup, made it its business to produce interior equipment that is based on waste material of the building sector. By upcycling waste material, the designers hope to change the perception of waste by the construction industry and society at large. Since 65 percent of waste generated in the Netherlands comes from the construction industry, there is a great potential to become more resource-efficient through ideas such as the ones of StoneCycling.
