The Vietnam Trade Information Portal (VTIP), a place for small and medium enterprises to get information on import-export regulations and procedures, recently launched, and will help Vietnam’s SMEs save time and operational costs with quick access to Vietnam’s trade rules.
Hosted by the General Department of Vietnam Customs (GDVC) under the Ministry of Finance, with support from the World Bank Group in Vietnam, the goal for the portal is to aid in the improvement of predictability and transparency of the country’s trading laws and processes.
The initiative is a government effort to increase access to information and to comply with the World Trade Organization’s Trade Facilitation Agreement.
