Volkswagen will unveil their new Crossover model, their third electric vehicle, during the Auto Shanghai 2017 show next week. The car will combine elements from a Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) and a coupé to go toe to toe with Tesla’s Model X in an attempt to contribute to making VW the leading EV manufacturer in the next ten years.
Following the emissions scandal, VW is showing itself as a automotive manufacturer of the future, with the Crossover model marketed as a zero-emission all-rounder with self-driving technology.
