The EU Comission created a web portal for cities to exchange of best practices and urban strategies in October of 2016. News on EU policies and information on financing opportunities by urban interest groups are also available on the platform. The objective is to provide cities with instruments to experiment with new ideas, says Maroš Šefčovič, Vice-President of the European Commission.
