“Cloud computing”, transmitting and receiving data through the cloud, is relying on a good data connection. A new term and IT phenomenon emerged which overcomes the problem of bandwidth: fog computing or also called edge computing. With this technology data is kept closer “to the ground,” in local computers and similar devices.
