According to the World Health Organisation (WHO), global air pollution is worsening: New data shows that outdoor pollution has risen by 8 percent in five years while 80 percent of the people living in cities are being exposed to unhealthy air quality. Meanwhile, European countries trail the United States in reducing air pollution levels.
