In the course of the next three weeks, the city of London, through the GATEway (Greenwich Automated Transport Environment) research project, is letting citizens apply to take part in a trial for seven prototypes for automated shuttles. The passengers are surveyed before and after their ride from Oxbotica, developer of the shuttles. The project aims to promote driverless vehicles for their use as zero emission and low noise transportation system.
